Custom business systems · Dubai & the UAE
Custom software development for the way your UAE business works
For operations and IT leads whose approvals, reporting and cross-system work have outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected applications. We design the system around your workflow, build it one module at a time, and you own the custom code.
- Delivered for EVS, Al Mukab AlFudhi and Ashbilia Contracting
- Software products we build and own
- Licensed in Dubai (DED)
- Arabic and English
Sound familiar?
Your work has outgrown the tools it runs on.
Requests arrive everywhere
Email, WhatsApp and paper forms, so nobody can see what is waiting or who owns the next step.
Approvals happen outside the record
Decisions are made in chat threads and never reach the system that holds the work.
Reports rebuilt by hand
Someone copies figures between spreadsheets and the ERP before every review, and the numbers rarely agree.
How this worked in a delivered system
Client systems we have delivered.
Each project page sets out the actual scope we delivered. One is a custom build, one a standard ERP configured well, and one runs on a product we own.

Proof from a delivered system
The EVS Customer Portal at launch.
- 3,642customers joined the app
- 2,433services booked
- 31%of bookings made after working hours
Launch-period figures: these numbers cover only the app's first days after release (4 to 18 October 2026), not its current totals. Source: the report Digital Cubic prepared for EVS.
How it starts
One conversation, then a written scope.
- Reach out
Send a short note about the workflow you’re trying to control, then choose a time on the next screen. If no time suits, our team gets back to you as soon as possible to arrange one.
- Free 30-minute discovery call
A working session on the problem, not a pitch, in Arabic or English. If we’re not the right team for it, we say so.
- Written scope & proposal
If we fit, we confirm scope, timeline and price in a written proposal: architecture, modules, deployment and support model.
What you get
What we can build, and what stays with you.
Operational applications
Requests, approvals, documents and reports in one web system, with the right view for each role.
Customer and staff portals
Secure access for customers, partners or field staff to the records and actions that concern them.
Integrations with one source of truth
Connections to the ERP, accounting or HR tools you keep, subject to their supported interfaces and permissions. We agree which system owns each record and how a confirmed, rejected or pending update is handled.
Your source code and a usable handover
You own the custom code and IP. The agreed handover names the repository, architecture, build and deployment instructions, documented connections and operating responsibilities, with acceptance checks for the receiving team.
Optional hosting and operation
We can host, monitor and maintain it, or hand it to your team. Your choice.
Why Digital Cubic
One workflow first, designed before it's built.
Architecture before screens
We map the data, roles, approvals and integrations first, then agree the first module and how it will be accepted.
Integrations checked early
API availability, sign-in, data ownership, reconciliation and retries depend on your systems, so we review them in discovery, before the proposal.
We run software of our own
We build and own software products, including ArkanCS, ArkanERP, ArkanPM, LuminaEduSync, Vloud and ErrorLens. The same discipline goes into your system.

Before you enquire
Questions we hear first.
Can our existing ERP stay?
Often the right answer is a focused module connected to the ERP you already run, where it supports the required exchange. We check the named product and version, available operations and permissions, then agree which system owns each record. A working connection to one system does not establish compatibility with every ERP.
What does replacing one spreadsheet look like?
An illustrative first module could let an employee submit a request, route it to an authorised approver and record acceptance or a return with a reason. Agree the permitted roles, what stays in the existing system, and tests for an absent approver, a rejected update and access from the wrong account. This describes a possible scope, not a delivered client example.
Who owns the data, and what is handed over?
Your data stays yours. The project agreement names the custom source code, deployment setup, architecture, integration documentation and walkthrough to hand over. Digital Cubic's own products and reusable engineering patterns remain ours; third-party software remains subject to its own terms.
How do we check that the handover is usable?
Agree a test for the receiving team: follow the documentation to build and release an agreed version in a test environment, check the required connections and complete the agreed backup and restore check. Record missing access or instructions before accepting the handover. The precise checks and deliverables belong in the project scope.
What happens when the scope changes?
Scope is agreed one phase at a time. A change is assessed against the written scope and architecture, and its effect on the plan and the price is agreed in writing before work on it starts.
What drives the price?
The number of workflows and roles, how deep the approvals go, integrations with existing systems, data migration, and whether we host and run it afterwards. We confirm scope, timeline and price in a written proposal before you commit.
How is existing data migration scoped?
The written scope should say what data is moved, who cleans it, who decides which records are correct and how the result will be checked. Duplicates, inconsistent fields and missing records can change the effort. Describe the systems or files involved on the first call; no confidential records are needed.
What stays optional after launch?
Hosting, monitoring, support and further modules. Each is agreed separately, and you can take the system to your own team instead.
Do I need a detailed specification?
No. A plain description of the workflow, the people in it and the problem is enough to begin.
You're a smaller company. What if you're not around later?
The architecture, deployment and handover are documented, so another team could take the system over. It can run on Azure, AWS or private servers managed by Vloud. And we build and own our own software products, so keeping software running is everyday work for us.
What does it cost?
There’s no public price list. We price to your scope and confirm it, with the timeline, in a written proposal after a free 30-minute discovery call.
Who owns the code?
You do, for the custom work we build for you. It is set out in the engagement agreement. Our own products stay ours.
Can you sign an NDA first?
Yes. We are happy to sign an NDA if you need one.
Can you host and run it for us?
Yes, if you choose it. We can host in-region when data residency matters, or deploy to your own cloud account instead. Operating is a separate, optional relationship.
Do you work in Arabic?
Yes. Our team works in Arabic and English, and we build bilingual systems.
